BBC Bangla is a Bengali language service under the BBC World Service. BBC Bangla an online news source written in Bengali under the umbrella of the BBC World Service. The BBC Bangla Radio service, which has been on the air since 11 October 1941 with a 15-minute programme, has become a potent, accessible and reliable source of information in the Bengali language community. BBC Radio broadcast daily news about Bangladesh and the rest of the world, as well as recorded podcasts of the daily radio news. The headquarters of BBC Bangla used to be the Bush House, but since 2012 it broadcasts from the Broadcast House in London and the BBC offices in Dhaka and Kolkata.
