Daily Janakantha is a Bengali newspaper from Bangladesh and owned by Janakantha Shilpa Paribar (GJSP). This broadsheet was first published on 21 February 1993. Mohammad Atikullah Khan is the editor of it. In 1999 the Bangladeshi army personnel had to disarm a bomb that was presumably left behind by Islamic militants in the newspaper. The newspaper has a secular to liberal political orientation and published in both printed and online versions.
